Accident compensation — Functions and powers of Corporation — Claimant suffered severe injuries while on holiday in New Zealand and on returning to England incurred necessary expenses for a wheelchair and housing alterations — Corporation declined to reimburse claimant under rehabilitation provisions of the Act as he was not resident in New Zealand — Whether Corporation was entitled to meet the expenses under s 80(1) of the Act — Whether Corporation had authority to reimburse claimant for interest incurred by him in meeting those expenses — Accident Compensation Act 1982, s 80(1).
