Practice and procedure — Service out of New Zealand — After High Court Rules came into force, plaintiff sought an extension of time for service overseas — Whether plaintiff had shown sufficient reason for the extention of time sought — Whether, if plaintiff was entitled under R 219 to serve proceedings overseas without leave, this gave the plaintiff an absolute right to have its claim litigated in New Zealand — High Court Rules, RR 218 and 219. — Plaintiff had been refused leave, under RR 48 and 49 of the Code of Civil Procedure, to serve proceedings overseas on the ground that the United States was a more appropriate forum to test the plaintiff's claim (see [1985] 2 NZLR 652)
