Town and country planning — Requirements, designations and public works — Auckland Regional Authority required an area of approximately 28 hectares to be designated for refuse disposal — Proposal involved spraying treated effluent on to an adjoining area of 20 hectares for which a designation had not been sought — The spraying of treated effluent was possibly a permitted use of the 20 hectare block under the district scheme — Whether Authority was required to seek a designation for the whole of the public work or only for that part which was not in conformity with the scheme — Town and Country Planning Act 1977, s 118.
