Contract — Taxicab services — Company under statutory duty to provide communication services for taxicabs — It also offered customers the facility of charging fares to their account by signing a "service order" - Taxi proprietors contracted with company to use its services and became shareholders — Company amended its operating rules by adding new rule stipulating that "service orders issued by account holders with the company must be redeemed through this company" - Taxi proprietors started to redeem service orders through another firm and retain the 7 1/2% fee the company charged customers for credit — Whether the new rule was binding on the taxi proprietors — Transport Act 1962, ss 128 and 129 - Companies Act 1955, s 36.
