Administrative law — Judicial review — Broadcasting Tribunal — Admission of evidence — Test to be applied — Duties of Tribunal — At beginning of Broadcasting Tribunal's hearing into applications for a warrant for a third television channel, the Broadcasting Corporation did not oppose the grant of a warrant — But before conclusion of hearing, and after each applicant for a warrant had presented its case, the Broadcasting Corporation sought to adduce evidence that the grant of a warrant was not in the public interest — Whether the Corporation should be prevented from adducing this evidence — Broadcasting Act 1976, ss 67C, 68 and 80.
