Law practitioners — Solicitors' Fidelity Guarantee Fund — Moneys advanced to a company by a financier were guaranteed by a shareholder and director of the company — The moneys so advanced were stolen by the company's solicitor — Financier obtained judgment against the shareholder for the principal sums advanced together with the interest provided by the instrument which secured the advance and costs — Whether the shareholder was entitled to reimbursement of the interest and costs from the Solicitors' Fidelity Guarantee Fund in addition to reimbursement of the principal sums — Law Practitioners Act 1982, s 169.
