Matrimonial property — Separate property — Increase in value of separate property — Farm — Husband acquired farm before marriage which lasted three years eight months - during the marriage the wife worked on the farm which over that period increased in value by $112,000 mainly because of inflation — Farm was held to be the separate property of the husband — Whether increase in value became matrimonial property - whether wife was entitled to an award for helping to sustain the property — Matrimonial Property Act 1976, ss 9 and 17.
