Criminal law — Sentence — Sexual offending — Whether impact on complainant of offender's denial of the offence a relevant consideration — Whether commission of subsequent similar offence is relevant to sentencing for earlier offence which only later came to light — Victims of Offences Act 1987, s 8.
Criminal law — Sentence — Sexual offences — Subsequent offence occurred 12 months after the earlier offence — Subsequent similar offence had been dealt with first by a sentence of 15 months' imprisonment — Whether sentence for earlier offence to be determined in relation to the sentence appropriate to the overall offending.
