Criminal law — Sentence — Defendant pleading guilty — Appeal against sentence imposed for importing and having in possession for supply large quantities of cannabis — Defendant being the principal not a mere intermediary merited a severe sentence — Effect of statute passed but not in operation reducing previous maximum penalty so that sentence imposed exceeded that maximum.
