Criminal law — Aiding and abetting — Person cannot be a party to an offence unless offence is proved to have been committed by some other person — A person cannot be convicted of an offence at common law but accepted principles of common law may be resorted to as an aid to interpretation of particular statutory offences — Crimes Act 1961, ss 9, 66(1)(b), (c) and (d).
