Criminal law — Sentence — Offence under Companies Act — Offender, having been convicted of a crime of dishonesty, was prohibited from being director of a company for next five years without leave of Court — Within that period and without such leave offender became director of two companies which failed, resulting in substantial losses to creditors — On conviction in District Court offender was ordered to come up for sentence if called upon and was ordered to pay costs — Prosecutor appealed — Whether sentence was inadequate — Companies Act 1955, s 188A.
