Public works — Taking of land and compensation for land taken — Claims for compensation in general must be referred to a Land Valuation Committee — Court has a discretion to exercise any function of a Land Valuation Committee of its own motion or on application made by either party — Public Works Act 1928, ss 16, 22(1).
Administrative law — Compensation — Jurisdiction of Administrative Division of the Supreme Court at its discretion to determine amount of compensation as at first instance — Public Works Act 1928, s 16.
