Police — Powers — Right of entry without warrant under s 8 of the Children and Young Persons Act 1974 - Section 8(3) provides that a constable exercising the powers of entry under s 8(1) must tell any person who questions his authority that he is acting "pursuant to the authority of that subsection" - Whether, when informing an inquirer of his authority to enter and search, a constable must refer specifically to the subsection of the statute under which he purports to act.
